Week One (July 1 – 9)
The first week of July is full of variety. From tactical-RPGs to mech shooters, those looking for something to play will most likely find something here. The Banner Saga 2 kicks things off by continuing the critically acclaimed story, even allowing you to import your previous save files to pick up exactly where you left off. Rocket League: Collector’s Edition hits retail shelves, so now there’s literally no reason not to play it (unless you have no money, of course). And the mech shooter Hawken hits PS4 and Xbox One.

Week Two ( July 10 – 16)
It seems the PS Vita isn’t dead as it gets a new game this week, Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme VS-Force. Players will be able to play the classic 2v2 battles but also have the option to conduct massive 6v6 battles with their own created teams of Gundams. The big game to watch out for during this week though is Tumblestone. That game is surprisingly simple, but it has mastered the “just one more go” feeling.
The Other 99 (PC) – July 11
Week Three (July 17 – 23)
Week three’s shining star is none other than I Am Setsuna, an RPG from Square Enix that is bringing it back to the days of old. Experience a beautifully illustrated world with classic JRPG elements. Neverwinter brings its MMO action to the PS4 near the end of the week, and ARK: Survival of the fittest, a spinoff arena mode for the dinosaur having survival game, comes out the same day.
10 Second Ninja X (Xbox One, PS4, Vita, PC) – July 19
Week Four (July 24 – 31)
July ends with a bit of sizzle, as it only has two games releasing in the final week, one of which is just an updated version of a two-year-old game. Still, if you like RPGs and are just looking for something to hold you over until the holiday season, you may find something here you like.
